Inspiration

Morning all.

I was reading an article over at ManofFreedom.com and its contents resonated with me so I decided to do this post.

There is one simple rule in life (and more importantly cycling) if you want to get ahead:

You have to get out there, and MAKE IT HAPPEN.

If you want those blood pipes or to win that bunch sprint. DO NOT sit at home watching television or masturbating waiting for ‘the right moment’ to start. Get on the bike, and go bust your ass for two hours on the steepest hill you can find.

If you want to SUCCEED, taking action is crucial my friend. Instead of watching random youtube videos when you get up in the morning, do some core workouts. Instead of popping a beer and putting your feet up after work, do interval training on the turbo. You have to be 100% focused on your goals. When you are awake, DO NOT SWITCH OFF.

Remember, be who you want to be, do whatever it takes, and you CANNOT GO WRONG.

See you at the top.

The Planet X Pro Carbon Ultegra…my new bike. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick bike under a grand.

"Cycling is a sport, a simple thing. It is something we do for pleasure. But Cycling is also a simplification of reality, where we can test our perseverance and learn to fight the greatest adversary we can encounter: ourselves. A Cyclist learns to push through pain to achieve a goal. These lessons are then applied to our lives to allow us to become better people."
